As Frawg and Turtle continued to develop their relationship, everywhere they went and at the craziest moments they experienced Frogs, Turtles, Frogs on Turtles, Turtles with Frogs, etc…. Neither recalled ever seeing the two unique creatures together so prominently, so it was decided……It definitely is a sign!
Frawg has always had a love of creative cooking. His passion with barbequing and creating sauces and rubs was a treat for Turtle from the beginning. Being a seafood lover, she never really put to much emotion into the taste of the BBQ’s. One day, he brought her a platter of ribs with a new sauce. He stuck the spoon in her mouth and her eyes popped open. She couldn’t tear herself away from standing at the counter to devour them. When he prompted her to sit down to eat and all she could do was shake her head and keep eating, they both knew he was on to something great! She couldn’t even wait for the meat to be transferred to a dinner plate! Then she was eating the sauce right from the bowl!
Knowing this BBQ sauce could be very popular, we looked at the ingredients and found the unique taste came from Frawg using store bought Apple Butter. Having a love of cooking herself, Turtle decides to research recipes and formulate her own Apple Butter. Her recipe is very unique and the special blend of ingredients makes hers an “original”. Of course there is also the fact that the apples come from a family orchard in beautiful Manson, WA. Turtle’s Aunt Jan and Uncle Ray Silva have agreed to let them pick the apples fresh off the trees every season. The secret of the sauce is also the secret of the Apple Butter and one isn’t the same without the other!
